GEN NPE-2 is a kind of neutral cellulase. Neutral cellulase is a genetically modified liquid cellulase, classified as an endo-1,4-β-D-glucanase, which selectively concentrates the hydrolysis of free microfibril ends in the non-crystalline zone of the fibre without damaging the fibre backbone.
