MPzyme-004 is a kind of bleaching aid enzyme. Xylan is the main component of wood and non-wood fibres. During the pulp cooking process, xylan is partially dissolved, denatured and redeposited on the fibre surface. The use of bleaching aid enzym during the washing process can degrade and remove some of the deposited xylans.

Degrade and remove some of the deposited xylan, thereby increasing the pore space of the pulp matrix and releasing lignin, while also allowing chemical bleaching agents to penetrate more effectively into the fibres, improving bleaching efficiency and preventing the production of colour-forming groups such as xylan derivatives.
